Terms of Service

Mangalarambh (mangalarambh.com) is a self-service design tool for creating matrimonial biodata, downloaded as PDF files, and digital invitations, published as web pages you share by link. It is operated from India by Chetan Mukund Jarande and these terms are governed by Indian law.

By accessing or using the site you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

The editor and the watermarked preview are free. Removing the watermark from a biodata PDF is a one-time charge of ₹49, which grants a 15-day download window for that document. Publishing a digital invitation is a one-time charge of ₹199, which hosts it for one year. Current prices are always shown on our Pricing page and on the checkout screen before you pay.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order you have already placed.

We sell digital goods only. There is no physical product, no printing and no shipping of any tangible item.

• Delivery method: the un-watermarked PDF is generated and downloaded directly in your browser.
• Delivery time: immediately on successful payment, typically within a few seconds.
• Re-downloads: your receipt carries a re-download code. For 15 days from purchase you can use it on any device from our Contact & Support page to download the same document again, subject to a fair-use download limit.

The biodata maker works without an account, so the re-download code is the only way to recover a biodata purchase. Please keep it. Digital invitations need Google sign-in; see our Delivery Policy for how each is delivered.

You must be 18 or older to sign in or to buy.

You are solely responsible for the content you enter. Mangalarambh does not review, correct or verify it, and is not liable for spelling mistakes, wrong dates, incorrect details or translation errors in the finished document. The free watermarked preview shows exactly what you will receive. Please check it carefully before you pay.

When you publish an invitation, anyone with its link can see it. You confirm that everyone named or pictured in it has agreed to be shared this way, and that for a child you are their parent or guardian. Guests' replies are for organising your event only.

You agree not to use the service to:

• upload content you do not have the right to use, or anyone else's photograph without their consent;
• create unlawful, misleading, obscene, hateful or deceptive material, or to harass or impersonate anyone;
• attempt to bypass the paywall, probe or disrupt the service, or access it by automated means at a volume that degrades it for others.

The design templates, graphics and layouts are the intellectual property of Mangalarambh. On payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the document you generated for your own matchmaking or wedding purposes, including printing it.

You may not resell, redistribute or republish our blank templates, nor use them to operate a competing document-creation service. The content you enter remains yours. You give us a limited permission to store, copy and display it only to provide the service to you and your guests, which ends when it is deleted.

We may unpublish or remove an invitation, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms or the law, or when we receive a valid complaint or legal order. To report an invitation, write to [email protected] with its link. Any refund follows our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw features.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law. Where a payment has been taken but the document was not delivered, our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for claims and losses arising from content you publish or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. This does not affect your right to approach a consumer commission or the Data Protection Board of India.
